Detailed description of Pearl Golf Links, The -West
Pearl Golf Links facility is a Public, 36 hole golf facility located in Sunset Beach, North Carolina. Pearl Golf Links has two chmpionship 18-hole golf courses. They are The Pearl East Course and The Pearl West Course. The Pearl East is a traditional course and The Pearl West is a links style course.
The Pearl golf courses first opened for play in 1987. The courses were designed by Dan Maples.

The course plays fair and has some challenge. The greens were not good in places. A friend explained that there had been a lot of rain and that he felt this impacted the course conditions. Its a nice setting.

Bottom line: I would play again, Average course for the area, Fair priced based on quality and competitive area pricing

Good layout, challenging but not unfair. Freindly staff, good pace of play. Early season, so greens and fairways not in top shape, but filling in nicely.
Would travel: 30-60 Miles, Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Better than average course for the area, Fair priced based on quality and competitive area pricing
